I stopped in last night with a small group of friends. I thought the waitress was friendly and helpful. We all enjoyed our food and they seemed to have a pretty nice size menu feature salads, sandwiches, and entrees. On to the beer. They have a decent selection on draft mostly imports though. They have a fairly large bottle menu however, but there were not as many craft, especially local brews as I expected. The best aspect of this place was their beer prices. They were much cheaper than I am accustomed to in Winston-Salem and other cities. Overall, it was a cool place and I had a great time. If I lived in Hendersonville I would definitely go there often.

We sat outside on a beautiful evening , so hard to really comment on the vibe of the place, but my experience was pleasant. Beer selection is fairly decent, I'm sure anybody can find something to drink. Prices are reasonable, food was good, and portions are big. Our server was pretty good. I would have no problem returning to this place the next time I find myself in Hendo.

This is my local pub. Nothing super-exceptional here, but just a comfortable place I always enjoy. Bar food is my favorite food, and theirs is top-notch. NTN Trivia on-screen. Always an interesting mix of people, and good crowd and vibe most any time. Great bar tenders and wait staff.

They have about 12 taps with a good portion devoted to local craft brews. Others are the obligatory Guinness and main stream stuff. There is an extensive list of bottles (40 or 60??) with a lot of imports. Not a "beer destination" but a fine establishment if you're in the area.

So after walking out of the Black Rose, this place is just a hop skip and a jump up main street. If you are familar with Asheville you will know of the one downtown there. This is about the same size, though much less crowded. A ncie irish pub with a pretty good selection of imports and a good looking menu, though I was stuffed after Black Rose so did not eat anything. Seemed to have a good lineup of music on the weekends,. About 10-15 taps and maybe 30 or more bottles. This is a decent probably nice nightspot on the weekends. A better then average pub and if you are in town it wil not dissapoint.
