On-tap 9/2/2012 at Pour Farm Tavern in New Bedford, MA, served in a US tumbler pint glass.

A: The beer is murky yellow color, with a thin off-white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains a lot of ginger spice up front along with light caramelized malts, citrus and some hops.

T: The taste starts out with mildly sweet flavors of ginger spice, citrus and caramel. Then a decent hops presence comes in. The malt character is thin but where it should be for this type of beer. The after-taste is slightly spicy and slightly sweet.

M: Crisp and a little smooth, light-to-medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

O: A little tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, mild kick, decent representation of style, it’s a solid beer to drink for a while.

Sampled on June 17, 2012 during a tasting on the South Hampton, NH - Amesbury, MA state line. The pour was a medium golden amber with an off-white lingering head. The aroma was wonderful with sweet malts and a powerful dosage of sharp ginger and light honey. The body was medium. The taste was incredibly unique with a generous ginger sensation on the palate that had everyone talking during the tasting. Of the four choices available at the tasting that day this one was my favorite. Too bad they only brewed this once.

1l into mug at Wickenden Pub.

Hazy golden orange, 1 finger of head. Nothing notable.

Nose is pretty mild, a bit of floral note.

Taste is a mild ginger snap. Floral/honey sweetness as well. Blah.

Light bodied, crisp, would be a good summer beer- a good pairing with food.

Overall this beer did not impress me. But it's well made. ... Will revisit in the summer.

PS tap handle looks like it was made in wood shop by a truant.

A-Pours a not so clear straw color. Mild head doesn't leave much lacing.

S-Definitely getting the ginger aspect here. Also has a noticeable honeyed sweetness too. Not really picking up much of the Pale Ale aspects here. Just ginger all over the place.

T-Yeah, that is too much ginger for my liking. Honey is there too I believe. Still, pretty shallow behind the ginger.

M-Light but not very crisp. A bit sticky to me but the carbonation is on point.

O/D-Not for me. Wouldn't do this one again and I LOVE ginger ale...but not an ale with ginger. Funny.
