Pours copper. Thick, short, white head lasts a while with good lacing.

Smells light hops, mostly malt, lager smell, hints of fruit and diacetyl.

Tastes bready, caramel, hints of hop bitterness fading to lager taste. Dry finish with lingering breadiness and hints of diacetyl. Medium body and fizzy medium carbonation.

On tap at the brewpub, the bartender tapped a new keg, but there was almost no head. Had an oily look and little carbonation. There was almost no hoppiness, and the primary taste was some kind of weird funk. Kin of greasy mouthfeel. I would never drink this beer again.

Harsh, somewhat asprin like bitterness, thin, but somehow still cloying, caramel malt and light, piney hop aroma. It doesn't smell awful, but the flavor is really a mess. Definitely wouldn't drink again.

Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a bronze color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is mild, citrus, some malts. Taste is kind of a mess, flavors just not blending well. Lemons, malts, some medicinal notes, very light bitterness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall, even at $9 for a 4 pack, I am feeling buyer's remorse.

Tastes like old hops. No date on bottle. Purchased a single bottle. Every brewery should put a date on each bottle or can. Am going to drain pour it and have a fresh beer from a dated bottle!

Apprently this was not fresh. But with no dating on the bottles, I took a chance. This will be the last time I take that chance.

I sampled this a couple months ago at the brewery. It showed real potential to be good.

L; A nice orange yellow. Not much head which quickly dissipated.

S: Almost zero hop character. Malty.

T: Malty, but bitter. Again almost no citrus hops, like I tasted at brewery.

F: Moderately carbonated. A decent feel to it.

O: Clearly date your bottles! Based on what I tried at brewery, this would have been a nice edition to the NY IPA scene. It' s clear it needs to be fresh.
