A - Pours a dark black color with some hints of brown and a finger of off-white head. The head fades down to a thin ring around the glass leaving behind some touches of lace.

S - Aroma is full of roasted caramel and chocolate malts and some light pine hops. There is also a bit of earthiness in the background.

T - Starts off with sweet roasted caramel malt flavor and a touch of pine hop and bitterness. Through the middle, some stronger caramel and grassy flavors come through with some earthy flavors. The finish is a mix of some roasted flavors and some sweet caramel that linger nicely.

M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Really smooth and feels very balanced. Nice lingering sweet and roasted flavors.

D - Very drinkable. The malt and hop balance is really nice and there is a nice amount of earthiness mixed in as well.
