Cloudy light golden in color with a beautiful 1 inch foamy head. Nice smell, definitely hoppy, you have aromas of apples, oranges, kiwis, pineapples, bananas. In the mouth it's a little bit more earthy than fruity, you still get some fruits flavors but not as much as I expected from the nose. It has a nice spicy (black pepper) aftertaste with a good bitterness. Not bad.

Poured from a can, purchased on Christmas Eve in Montreal. 50 IBUs and an SRM of 4.5. I was told by the very knowledgeable clerk that this beer has some wheat in it.

Superb, rocky head. Very creamy and very slow to settle. It leaves many streaks on the glass and a thick, chunky ring of lace from the initial sip. The broth is cloudy with a gold to dirty gold color.

I smell thistle. Subsequent smells brings out a meek touch of pale malted barley.

The taste comes across like a pale lager with a huge hop kick. The body is light and the carbonation is high. The opening sip is relatively neutral until the swallow which brings out a black pepper, freshly cut weed-like flavor. This continues for a long time in the aftertaste. I don't detect any wheat. Rather two dimensional in the flavor, which is plentiful for this session beer.
