Brown color beer. Clear. Timid foamy head... Almost non-existent. The aroma is caramel malts with some burnt notes. Medium intensity. Hazelnuts.

Taste is dominated by nuts wi some woody notes. Light body. Very refreshing. Balanced. Too pricy for this kind of beer.

Bottle: Poured a clear light brown color ale with a large foamy head with light retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry malt notes with unrefined grain notes. Taste is also dominated by very dry caramel malt with unrefined grain notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. A bit too dry and astringent for my taste with very light nutty touch.

Enjoyed at the Mondial 2008. Brown with good lacing. Malty, some nuttiness. Good carbonation. Bitter finish. Drying finish. Medium mouthfeel. Quaffable. I agree that this is a good session ale, for those looking for maltiness rather than bitterness. Decent brown.

Brown as expected. Slightly beige head about one finger. Carbonation visibly minimal. Transparency is good. A bit of roast/biscuit on the aroma. Some slight fruit esters as well. Caramel malt and chocolate malt come through on the palate. Mouth feel is moderately thick leaning towards thin. Balance is okay and its perfectly quaffable overall. A good beginner beer or introduction to craft but its somewhat understated as a whole, at least IMO.

Great with some burgers and is easily portable due to the cans, i will give it that . :)

I think this is a fine example of a brown ale. It is tasty and conforms to the style. It might be a bit on the ordinary side of ales and as others have mentioned it is not cheap.
