12oz can, adhesive label. No dating information found.
Black colored body, with a thin mahogany back lit edge. Two fingers of light tan head, and this becomes a thin cap and high ring. Any lacing slides back down into the body.
Aroma of dark roasted malts, coffee, and a hint of vanilla.
Taste is malt sweet with a definite coffee contribution. Caramel, chocolate, and vanilla. Slight char exists at the end. Aftertaste stays with coffee and sweet cream.
Medium mouthfeel. Oatmeal malt edge. Cleaner finish. Good carbonation.
Good balance with the flavors of coffee, chocolate, and caramel.

Pours out dark brown color with a medium light caramel head on top. Smell is of watered down espresso. Taste is very underwhelming. Watered down roasted malts with a very faint hint of coffee.

One and a half inches of khaki froth slowly recedes, leaving a patchwork coating of lace on a Pretentious Glass Company pub pint. The Stout itself is black, with dark cola highlights.

Strong, dark roasted cocoa has coffee in the background. Warmth allows the black coffee to build more as brewed than as roasted beans.

Mild bitterness gives way to strong roasted coffee at first. Baker's chocolate and roasted malt follow, while light charred ash brings up the end. Warmth amplifies the black coffee and mild sweetness. The finish is modest and filled with roasted coffee.

Alcohol is as expected. The carbonation is light and fizzy. Light astringency works against the medium body and texture of coarse wool.

This reminds me more of an Irish Dry Stout than an American Stout. Regardless, it is well done and one could easily enjoy a few during a cool, wet, autumn afternoon, as their favorite team loses another game.

Sampling a 12 oz can poured into my snifter at cellar temperature. Date stamp is 03/03/23.
The beer pours a dark cola brown with fizzy beige head of about 1 cm foaming up and fading to a sturdy edge layer soon after the pour. one large island rests in the center of my glass.
Aroma on this beer is some roasted malts and coffee, not much else and certainly no hop character. Seems appropriate for the style, definitely on the mild side.
First sip reveals a medium body with smooth texture and some soft rolling carbonation. the beer drinks pretty easy.
Flavor is some light roasted malt and a bit of chocolate mixing with some unsweetened coffee. No hop character comes through nor any hints of ABV.
My glass is empty pretty quickly and I find this beer enjoyable and am glad to have tried it.

Bought a 6 pk for$9.99 at Tom's Market in Traverse City. Looks are typical for a stout and left modest lacing in a pint glass. Aroma is more coffee than other beers and taste followed the aroma. Not overly complex but an enjoyable beer that I would purchase again. Worth a try if you run across it.

The CEO stout was picked up in New Buffalo at Barney’s. It is a classic, roasty stout and turns out the CEO stands for chocolate, espresso, and oatmeal. The oatmeal base is defined and the espresso kick is a nice touch. It is a light bodied stout as advertised so very easy to drink if you’re looking for a light dark beer.

Thanks Chris.
This was poured into a glass mug.
The appearance was a fairly thick dark brown close to black color topped with a finger and a half's worth of off white foamy head. slid off to leave some messy lace.
The aroma had some dark fruits, milk chocolate, some roasty coffee bean, and some vanilla wafer/bean character.
The flavor moderately leaned towards a combination of toasty coffee, dark fruits, dark chocolate, dark toast and nuts. Subtle aftertaste of sweet coffee, milk chocolate, dark fruits and dark toast.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Nice carbonation with a good grip rolling into the finish.
Overall, as an American stout I would say this works. Yup I would come back to.

Pours a black color with a foamy tan head that disappears quickly. Aroma of chocolate and roasted coffee. Tastes of coffee with a bit of sweetness. Thin mouth feel.
