Minty stout. Dark pour with minimal head.

Black in color and impenetrable to light. There's a half inch of very creamy tightly knit brown head. The aroma is a well balanced blend of mint and dark malt. I'm tasting a fairly well balanced blend of dark malt and mint. I think a bit of chocolate might have helped this beer. The mouthfeel is lightly creamy, but the mint creates a very nice cooling sensation.

Not as strong on the mint as I'd like but super easy to drink and quite pleasurable

1 PINT can
Served in a snifter

This beer pours black and is topped with two inches of tan head that leaves a little lacing.

I smell mint and chocolate. I think that is exactly what Right Brain was shooting for.

It tastes like a peppermint patty. The mint and chocolate have a nice balance where neither dominates but compliment each other.

It is not quite as full in the mouthfeel as I would like.

This is a tasty brew. I do not like a lot of mint, but I do in my stouts for some reason. I find it refreshing for a heavy beer.

Pour is black with a few fingers of khaki head, settles to a thin layer of swirling bubbles with no lacing. Aroma is fresh, bright mint, roasted espresso beans and bitter cocoa. Taste becomes closer and closer to thin mint cookies as it warms: crisp mint, dark chocolate bite, and dark malt. A little too thin on the feel for my taste, but overall refreshing and pretty on point for what the brewers intended.

Looks like a dark chocolate stout. Relaxed head. Smells on point, like chocolate mint which is bizarre, though some batches have a slight skunk or bitterness. It doesn't taste nearly as good as it smells, if you're looking for a good chocolate stout Samuel Smith seems to be the only one who can make it taste like chocolate with natural flavors, it's good but it's not great. Feels really thick and kind of syrupy I think I could only drink one of these if I wanted to. Overall it's worth trying once for sure, pretty good beer.
