On tap at Grey Lodge on 3/8/09 during Philly Beer Week.
A - Cloudy golden/orange body with sparse carbonation and virtually no head, just a wispy veil that quickly disappeared and left no lacing. Looks like a glass of OJ.
S - Mild spicy yeasty aroma with some clove and bubblegum notes. Some fruity esters and orangey/citrusy notes are also present.
T - Spicy and yeasty up front with some fruity esters and a bit of funky sourness in the backend. Finishes with a mild earthy hop bitterness.
M - Medium body with syrupy texture and moderate carbonation. Finishes with a mix of funky notes, sourness and slight bitterness on the palate.
D - Not one of my favorite styles, but still pretty well done

A-Hazy golden kissed amber with just a thin veil of off-white foam that leaves no lace.
S-Spicy yeast with clove and bubblegum notes. Nice hit of citrus notes entering behind, not sure if that is from the yeast as well or if it the hops. A pleasant combination of aromas.
T - Spicy yeast up front with a nice backing of slightly sour citrus notes. A bit of earthy/musty bitterness in the drying finish.
M-Medium-light body with nice lingering spiciness and sour twang on the palate.
D-Pretty well done, a yeast driven Belgian all the way. Spicy and slightly funky flavour keeps this one interesting all the way through.
