Dropped in about a month ago while in town for the weekend. Right next to the Earth Fare shopping center. I've always heard about the limited selection on Knoxville and this place certainly lived up to the reputation. Small little section just past the cash registers when you walk in. Your standard Belgians, Stone, Great Divide, and a few others. Really not much at all. Prices were a bit higher than I see in Nashville, but I am not sure how they compare to the area. The guy behind the counter was a little short when I asked him a questions and was none too interested in me being there. Overall, if you are out on the west side of town and looking for some higher gravity stuff, drop in. But certainly dont make a special trip out to it.

Stopped in here as the shop was adjacent to my hotel. Like others have said, the shop sells predominantly high ABV beers in a limited section of the store. Place was clean and looked like a typical bottle shop. As an out of towner, I was happy to find some Southern Prohibition and Yazoo as well as some Belgian goodies. The staff was friendly and welcoming and shared what they knew about local brews. Cannot compare it to other beer stores around Tennessee, but I was happy to find some items that I had been searching for quickly. A lot better than most beer shops I find in business hotel districts.

The forte here is wine, followed by spirits, and craft beer as a very distant third. Like all shops in TN, you're only going to find high ABV stuff here. The store itself is pretty clean. It isn't huge and beer is relegated to 3/4 of one side of one shelf. They do have a few beers stuffed in a window cooler, but mostly more of the same you'll find on the shelf. What they do have is typical stuff you'll find anywhere else and it's a touch more expensive. I picked up a four pack of Red Brick 20th Anniversary stout for $16 and a Lips Of Faith. I would have passed but it was my only bottle shop stop this time through TN. Staff doesn't care about beer, in fact the guy that rung me up asked what kind of wine my bottle of New Belgium Yuzu was because it wouldn't scan and he couldn't find it when searching. I'd recommend checking reviews for other bottle shops in the area and look elsewhere, you'll find the same stuff and probably a bit cheaper, too.

This place seems to have really upped their game. Their selection has really improved and they seem to have dropped their prices a little. I would like to see a little more attention paid to the +abv beer selection. They seem to order "willy nilly", yes, I said willy nilly! What I mean is that they have no rhyme or reason to what they seem to stock. They have the old standard high abv beers, but nothing really to write home about.... BUT, they are starting to sock some more rare Belgians and even my favorite... wait for it... German/Bavarians. I wish they had an expert to really pull in the rare and good finds, I just think that they may not have the expert working there. Give it a try though, some great things. Even wine. BOOO.

I stumbled upon this place when I was in Knoxville a couple months ago, and as I had not seen it before decided to wonder in. This place is right next door to the Earth Fare shopping center and they have an adjoing parking lot so that will make it much easier. They don’t have a terribly big selection, but who does around here, but they did carry the more popular Belgians like Chimay and Orval, there was some Stone Old Guardian and Ruination as well as some of the bigger things from Rogue. Overall not a terrible place and pretty typical of the area. If you are in Earth Fare it’s worth a stop in to see if you can get some of the higher gravity offerings they don’t carry. Prices were a little bit above some of the other stores, but within the normal range.
