A nice smoky and overly creamy stout. This one had a very nice taste of chocolate, coffee, and some milky like characteristics. The egg nog isn't overly detectable, but to me it almost tasted more like a smoky chocolate milk. It was a very good beer and it paired well with the Christmas holiday and all the snacks that we usually indulge in around that time. I actually drank this beer as an after dinner drink and it worked well. I think this is definitely a stout you should try! This will be one I will always look to buy for my Christmas list.

Interesting beer, but I guess I was expecting something more on the creamy/sweet side. This one was very artificial, with chemical like overtones in both the aroma and flavor. If you try hard enough, you'll get some egg nog spices, over top of an egg cream base.

How dare the martians kidnap Santa....bastards! This beer poured an opquae dark with no head and no lace. The scent certainly had much Xmas themed flare....nut meg, peppermint, chocolate, pine, cinnamon, etc. The taste leaned toward maple mocha with a hint of mint. The mouthfeel was medium in body with subtle carbonation. Overall it was good....one is probably enough....just too many flavors to session.

Drinking this right after their peanut butter stout. Paid the same 8 bucks for this gimmick of a beer!

A - The same as the other stout very thick and imperial looking deep blackness with a 1/2 inch of head that sticks around for a bit.
S - Spices of camomile and cinnamon with a nice vanilla tone which I am not certain is like an Egg Nog. Definitely not as aromatic as the peanut butter stout.
T - Bitter and spiced with herbal twang and roasty tongue burning. No real vanilla to "simulate" a nog experience or sweetness really it's kind of bland. Reminds me of sucking on dandelion leaves as a child since my rabbit used to love em bitter and grassy.
M - Rather smooth the flavors may be weird but the body is excellent for a stout.

Overall the bottle I had was TERRIBLE its been a while since I had been so disappointed in a brew! Enough to make me consider not getting anything from these guys again...

Smells of thanksgiving haha if you aren't a fan of eggnog I don't think it should turn u away from this beer. I'm not sure if the taste of eggnog is spot on.. I can't put my finger on what it is but it keeps u coming back for another sip... No doubt a delicious brew. As long as you are up for a unique stout I would highly suggest this to you. Very tasty and very drinkable
