Atomic Raygun Imperial Red is a big, aggressively hopped Red Ale. It starts out with piney aromas and citrus flavors courtesy of the generous hops, and finishes with a nice rich, malty sweetness that balances the crisp hop bitterness.

Pours a sorta brownish red color with little head. Smell and taste are both really off, there is a heavy, medicinal black tea flavor that is overpowering and off-putting. The hops are aggressive and not balanced by any other flavor, and the malt is just a bland clump. It is that abrasive raw tea note that kills it, though.
