I had this on draught at the brewery. 16 oz. pour served in a pint glass. It pours a hazy, apricot-orange color with a thin, ecru-colored head and lacing that persisted through the pour. It smells of malt, lemon, tangerine, and floral mosaic hops. It's a citrus bomb with lots of lemon and grapefruit over a solid malt base. Then, the mosaic hops kick in and it finishes dry, bitter, and peppery. The tastes blend nicely. This ale features subdued carbonation and is light, dry, and crisp. At 7.5% ABV (it's higher than what appears in the description above), it has good substance but is totally drinkable. Overall, this is an interesting IPA that has the juiciness of a NE but the bitterness of a West Coast. It also features a nice, southern-style malt bill. Overall, it's very well crafted and enjoyable.

Solid orange appearance, looks like the high end dipas of today. Aroma was lacking, thought it would have more, this was merely average.

Mild hopping, not a lot of flavor or bitterness, which is a mixed bag. I just don't get why this is so loved, slightly above average at best. Good malt bill, caramel, toasted pale malts, but the hopping is underutilized.

I stopped in for dinner and got this beer with my chili. It looked like any other glass of beer I've had placed in front of me by the waitresses of these eating establishments. I bypassed the smell and took a nice gulp of this beer. It was delicious. It was smooth, malty, and silky. I was instantly enamoured with this beer and wanted more of its delicious taste. At that moment I finally realized how Edmund felt when taking Turkish delight from the white witch. I got a growler to go and will be going back to fill it up. The taste comes out best when served a little warmer than most, about 50 degrees. This beer is my number 1 for taste.
