On tap at Selin’s Grove Brewing in Selinsgrove, PA.
This one pours a dark and clear reddish color, with a small head and lots of lacing.
This smells like fresh and authentic cherry puree, with some spicing and a light tartness.
This is New Glarus like in execution, which is a real plus in my book. The cherry flavor is thick, sweet, and just slightly tart. There’s some slight spice and maybe a bit of nuttiness too.
This is nicely thick and very juicy, with a great level of drinkability.
This is one of the best straight up fruit beers out there. I can’t really think of a way to improve it.

On tap at the source, I liked it so much in my sampler that I ordered a glass afterwards.
Deep red with a pink tinged head. Huge tart cherry aroma and flavor. Reminds me a lot of New Glarus Belgian Red, very tasty.

Smells and tastes like real, fresh sour cherries. Not too sweet at all, bursting with delicious berry flavor. I've been waiting a long time to try this and it was well worth the wait.

Poured from a growler into a snifter.
A: An opaque dark ruby red hue.
S: A slight hint of fruit.
T: Tart cherries. Almost tastes like fruit juice.
F: Tart with a very slight pull. Smooth with slight effervescence on the finish.
O: This is very good and super drinkable. Refreshing and deliciously tart.

Pours a ruby red with very little head or visible carbonation. Nose is of large cherry notes and a bit of vanilla. Taste is very akin to cherry pie. Reminiscent of a New Glarus fruit beer as it warms up. Mouthfeel is lacking a bit, which is likely due to the lack of carbonation. Solid brew from these guys, even if the name is a bit misleading.

This beer is an extremely sweet version of a kriek. No tartness or sourness. Loaded with sweet cherry flavor that does not taste fake, it tastes very authentic. Not much else complexity or other flavors, just a huge cherry fruit beer, but it does that pretty well. A medium bodied beer with low carbonation levels. It is a sipper, because it is pretty sweet. Still enjoyable and glad that I finally got to try this beer. It has been on my wants list for at least 3 years or longer. This is my first beer from Selin's Grove and look forward to visiting them this summer!
