Served at the brew pub in a stubby sort of pub glass/pilsner hybrid glass. Dispensed via nitro, it appears a clear amber color with a finger of silky tan fluff. This brew ha a beautiful appearance and a wall of lacing coats the glass with every sip. The cap retains perfectly throughout the duration of the experience.
The smell of this brew is fruity hops, juicy citrus notes somewhat rindy like grapefruit, orange and some tropical notes reminiscent of mango mixed with pineapple. Wow, this smells pretty darn good and more complex than I was expecting.
The taste of the brew is mildly rindy with orange rind, fruity character mixed with herbs and some floral notes. The rindy flavors evolve into something somewhat like mango and other tropical fruits. There is a light toasted grain quality in th aftertaste mixed with the fruity hop flavors. There is a faint yet enjoyable alcohol inclusion.
This is a medium bodied brew with modest carbonation. Silky smooth in the feel and excessively drinkable. It's almost not fair that this is put on nitro, it's already an awesome beer and having the feel in the mouth that only nitro can deliver makes this almost pound able. Another glass please, and another.

Maybe hopper/more bitter than the IPA. Just a lower ABV. Less malty. Probably my go to when considering ABV issues.

16 oz pint glass on the patio outside in the shade after a long summer day.
Lovely golden ale, head dissipates quickly but leaves traces of lacing.
Aroma is sweet-to-neutral, not a high hop presence.
Flavor is mellow, sweet, malt partnered with hop bitterness for a pleasing overall effect. Dry aftertaste lingers on the outside of the tongue. Enjoyable.
A very pleasant ale that doesn't mirror the typical too-hoppy / too-high ABV that is so prevalent in the craft segment. At 5.5% not a true session beer but easily can drink two or three.
