My favorite beer in the world.
That said, it does vary a bit from batch to batch, but when it's spot on, nothing tops it.

Enjoyed on nitro at the brewpub with my wife. Selin's Grove does their nitro pours extremely well. The two things that would make this an even more amazing oatmeal stout are an overall richer flavor (although that would probably mean bumping the abv up a notch) and darker color. That said, this was a delicious beer and I will gladly drink it again!

I enjoyed this on Nitro pour at the pub served chilled in a glass.
The color is black except for a brown hue at the base with creamy light beige head and small bead with head retention good and lace that sticks well. The aroma is roasty with a sweetened coffee type odor with mild caramel and roasted malt scents. The feel is smooth and rich with moderate roasted grain and nitro feel giving a cask-type creaminess with mild sweetness mid palate with light toasted texture continuing into the semi-dry finish.
The taste is very mild for the style with subtle malt and gentle roasted quality yet there is a moderate amount of that roastey flavor with slight grain sweetness and caramel with subtle yeast smoothness and low bitterness in general. This is a very drinkable stout which is more on the sessionable side, but has enjoyable flavor and is quaffable in every way.
