Full Disclosure: My cousin owns this store. But he's my second cousin, so I think I can do this subjectively.
Very good selection for Athens. Nice selection of microbrews and a few oddities. You will get it cheaper at Total Wine in the Atlanta area, but in Athens it's either this or Five Points Bottle Shop. That is a generality, though. Some things are far cheaper here (I know it's not beer, but Redemption Rye goes for a full $7 less per .75 cl than at Total Wine).
The owner is always incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable. But like I said, he's related to me so I'm not ranking his service, but his staff's, instead. All of the employees I've encountered have been pleasant and helpful, but didn't go out of their way to help you find stuff. Possibly because their boss was already doing it. So, yeah, I probably can't be the most useful reviewer for this part.
Nice place, convenient, and good stock. Swing by.

This place is really convenient, as it's right next to Publix.
I really only go here if I'm grocery shopping because there are places with much larger selections, but it's a nice store. They do have a decent sized craft selection, but for the size of the selection they have a ton of quality microbrews. I went in today and saw that they had the Festina Peche and I believe they carry Cantillon.
The best part of shopping here is the service. The guys are really friendly and they know everything. I always get into long beer conversations with them and their recommendations have never steered me wrong.

Stopped into this location on a recent trip to Athens. This location was located inside of a strip mall location. Upon entering you can see that this is quite a large store. However, it is dominated by liquor and wine. On the plus-side though, the entire left wall is a cooler and is full of craft brew. In the coolers they have a pretty decent selection of lots of different things. Some things I didn't see anywhere else in Athens. I didn't really need any assistance but did have an employee stop and chat with me for a little bit about what types of beers I enjoyed and if he could make some suggestions. This location is worth stopping into and checking out.

I lucked out finding this place. I was visiting a friend that goes to school at UGA and this was the liquor store near their apartment complex. I wasn't expecting much, just hoping they had a better selection than the Publix next door. However, when I walked in, I was seriously impressed with the refrigerated selection. They had the entire array of Stone bombers. They had St. Bernardus Christmas Ale as well as the ABT 12. They also had several interesting DFH offerings. They had the new Belgian IPA from Great Divide. And their prices are on par with store's like Green's in ATL. The dude behind the counter seemed friendly and bullshited with me a little bit about beer. Overall a very nice option if you happen to be in the area,

Great place to get some hard to find micros and imports on the East side of Athens. There's no other place on that side of town that really caters to beer lovers.
They've got plenty of small breweries represented as well as the usual favorites on down to the dirty swill. What's great is that they always seem to have something new each week.
Prices always seem to be rather fair. let's face it, with the price of gas nowadays, I'm not driving any farther than I have to, especially when there is already a place close by that has all I need!
I'm definitely going there whenever I get the chance to see what else they found a way to cram in their cooler.

I like stopping here since they have several beers I not available in other places. They seem to be known for their wine, but the beer selection is nice too.
Service is okay. It really depends on who is working. Some of their employees have been there for years and can be very helpful when you need them. Lately, there has been a crew of meatheads that can make a visit to the store quite unpleasant unless you like to hear locker room conversation while you shop.
Selection, like I said was good. Many big bottles to pick from as well as many six and twelve packs. They cater to both the good beer and swill drinkers.
Value is reasonable, though that is on the expensive side of reasonable. Things seem to be about 50 cents more than other places.
