On tap at HopCat.

A - Medium yellow with a small amount of white head. Looks very carbonated.

S - Light citrus and earhy notes and a slight sweetness

T - Very bitter for an APA. Some earthy and piney notes but not much citrus. Some sweetness and dry bitter finish.

M - Light to medium body. Moderate to high carbonation.

D - The bitterness made this one difficult to drink. There are definitely better options at the Hop Cat.

On tap at HopCat on December 29, 2010. Served in an imperial pint glass.

Pours a golden color with a tad bit of a reddish hue. Fairly-solid white head that falls fairly quickly without too much lacing as it goes down the glass. Nose brings some mild citrus and floral hops and a tad bit of bready malt. The taste runs along the same lines, but doesn't really offer up what the nose promised. All those characteristics are quite muted. Nothing terribly wrong with this, just more of an average pale ale. Light to medium body with good carbonation and a mild bitterness. Drinks well enough, but I wasn't clamoring for more.

Arrived in a nonic a hazy, yellow with a creamy, white half-inch head. The aroma had some faint, spicy hop aromas with not much else. The mouthfeel was rather creamy with a nice, subtle hop bitterness followed by a surprising malt profile. There was a slight off-taste, almost like butter that I did not like. Otherwise, it was decent. After finishing the pint, I was not in the mood for another.
