Sampled 20oz in a tulip glass at the brewpub.
This is the first Imperial Pilsner I try.

Intense golden color with a white, creamy head which has a good retention. Strong malt character in the smell with some fruity notes of apple, pears blending nicely with caramel and cereals. I also pick out some bread and a certain spiciness coming from the alcohol. Hoppiness develops more in the taste with some herbal flavors and a medium bitterness that balances the malt very well. Very smooth on the palate with a medium-full body. As expected, the alcohol is well present and adds a delicious spicy character to the aftertaste. Overall, a very interesting brew with a a good complexity and excellent drinkability. It's impossible for me to compare with others of the same style but it seems to be a solid beer!
