A: Pours an almost opaque lightly hazy dark reddish copper in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate garnet red + burnt orange + amber + ruby red colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall sudsy foamy dark beige head that reduces to a handful of patches of thin film surrounded by a large patch of slightly mottled very thin film covering the majority of the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of citrus/blood orange with a hint of Hawaiian Punch tropical notes and light aromas of grainy + toasted malts with a light amount of grainy sweetness. Light aromas of pine hops.

T: Upfront there are light flavors of grainy + toasted malts with a light amount of grainy sweetness. That is followed by slightly stronger than moderate flavors of citrus/blood orange with a hint of Hawaiian Punch tropical notes. Finally there are light to moderate flavors of pine hops which contribute a light to moderate amount of assertive bitterness that lingers through finish.

M: Slightly lighter than medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly thin/watery.

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol. Enjoyable and really highlights the blood orange but not sure I would want to have more than one of these in a go.

Very refreshing. Among all the blood orange beers (of which there are a lot), this one stands out the most to me. The blood orange flavor really differentiates itself from the hop bitterness. Not overly sweet. More on the tart side. Smooth, but a little acidic.

 

Pours out orange brown in color. head is off white and is going rather quickly. Lacing is minimal but present.

I cant really say anything other than this beer smells like Hawaiian punch.

Taste like fruit punch with a hop bitterness in the back of the throat. Aftertaste is also of fruit punch. Burp as well.

Mouthfeel is light bodied and wet with very refreshing carbonation.

Hazy medium-dark amber color. Has a fresh, pleasant orange smell. The taste is... less pleasant. Rather more like grapefruit due to the combination of the orange and bitter hop flavors, and I really don't like grapefruit. A light touch on the hops would have made this ale more palatable.

 

Looks nice, dark amber gold, medium head. Smell is orange (of course) with some resin and pine mixed in. Taste follows the nose. A little gimmicky with the blood orange but they pulled it off well.

This was a great beer! Very refreshing, lots of orange smell and taste. This is a beer that I will keep in my rotation for certain.
