Pours a light yellow with light head, medium carbonation.

Citrus smell (like it ought to be) & light metallic odor.

Flavor is... 7-up with malt. Very light and fairly inoffensive but not particularly good. Up front lemon-lime with malty aftertaste (almost too much malt).

Refreshing, but not a first choice.

Pours a very light straw color with maybe 1cm of chunky white head that clings to the glass. Smells of lemon, lime and not much else. Smells a lot like sprite. Tastes a lot like sprite too, only not as sweet or with quite as much citrus flavor. Tastes like watered down sprite, I guess. Mouthfeel is foamy and kind of watery. Overall, it's fairly drinkable, if you like sprite. If you're looking for beer though, keep looking.

Pours a light golden colour, a lot of carbonation, no head. Looks flat and watery. Refreshing maybe, but so's a lemon squash. A lemon squash would have more head though.

Nose is full of artifical citrus esters. Very slightly acrid, but mostly just synthetic sweetness. I guess it delivers what it promises, but what was promised didn't thrill me anyway.

Strong watery sensation throughout the palate, you can feel the flavour of nothingness washing through everything. The citrus flavour announces itself weakly through the palate with a kind of candy lemon sweetness. Again, delivers what it promises. Having said that though, it's very weak and flat on the palate and there is a very unpleasant bread yeast sensation on the back. Mouthfeel is like over-carbonated soft drink.

This is shit. Flat, weak and uses lemon/lime flavour as a marketing gimmick rather than a flavour experiment. It's misguided, poorly executed and very bland. Avoid.

This came free with my barbeque. That's my excuse...

Very pale, almost colourless, super clear yellow - the colour of watered down piss. Almost no head. What's there is a thin collar of filmy-slick white. Some light streams of carbonation. Expected more. (Did I, really?)

Light tangy nose with an underlying yeast-cake aroma, giving a meaty, barnyard note. Otherwise very flat and plain.

Clean lemonade character on the palate, very quick to dissipate to a flat void. Some grain or yeast notes on the back palate, perhaps the taint of PoR. In any case, it's a forgettable flavour profile.

It's not an offensive beer, but it's incredibly bland, especially given the supposed additives it has. Very weak, but undeniably quaffable.

Poured a light straw in colour with about 1/4 inch of foamy head that left lacing all down the glass. Smelled very sweet and citrussy. I was a bit hesitant with this one aftery once trying a Miller Chill and expected the same flavour. Thankfully the lemon/lime wasn't as overly powerful which left the beer quite sweet. Is quite heavy on the carbonation (would make a good burping beer) and is drinkable like lemon tea is drinkable.

Appearance - 2.5
Poured half a finger of white head that quickly reduced to nearly nothing. The body looks highly carbonated and is a pale peachy colour.

Smell - 3.0
Smells sweet, shandy-like with lemon, lime and sugar dominating the other light-lager aromas.

Taste - 2.0
Not good, but not too bad either. Quite refreshing and not as oversweet as other radler style beers. Again, very shandy-like but with some grainy lager flavour and almost no detectable bitterness. Not for real beer drinkers, but not really objectionable.

Mouthfeel - 2.0
Moderate to high level of carbonation feels sharp over the tongue, the beer is light yet slightly filmy in the mouth.

Drinkability - 2.5
Sessionable for some, perhaps, but I would always choose a 'real' beer ahead of this.

OVERALL - 2.35
The radler is a funny beer style - usually better suited to those who do not really like beer. This is one of the better examples, I would drink it rather than a soft drink. However, for me this still barely qualifies as beer and I can think of a few macro lagers I would drink over this. Definitely best drunk ice cold.

"beer infused with lemon and lime" says the label. i'll give it a shot. 4.2%abv, best before 10/08

looks decent. vigorous pour results in a 2cm head. that settles to a thick lace which is kept going by high carbonation. clear light yellow color. decent lacing which was not expected.

smell is a tough one. not to describe as its just like sprite. but tough to mark. i like sprite, but it doesnt smell like any beery ingredient (other than the lemon and lime mentioned earlier). i'll sit on the fence here and give it a three.

taste is a bit disappointing. sort of a watered down beer and sprite mix. probably what they were going for actually. has a strange finish that gives me the feeling this is best enjoyed quickly and cold. again, probably what they were going for.
