Pours a cloudy golden amber color with a large Belgian style foamy head. Excellent retention results in a silky film and bubbly lacing.
Aromas are of lemon, grass and wheat malt. Nothing particularly fragrant or pungent; mostly clean.
I'm surprised by how clean, crisp and dry the taste is. It has a mineral quality that is refreshing. The body is light and the carbonation effervescent. Later on, some flavors open up, specifically lemon peel and a light touch of grassy hops.
This one goes down really smooth and I love its refreshing properties. At 3% ABV, I can appreciate the sessionable quality of it without it sacrificing flavor. However, I have reservations about calling this an American IPA in that it lacks that pungent and resiny American Hops flavor. It feels more like a hoppy Grissette or Belgian Pale Ale.

343 ml bottle into tulip glass, best before 7/2016. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy golden amber color with a 2-3 finger foamy and fluffy white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts the whole glass. Thick foamy lacing clings around the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, peppercorn, pine, lightly toasted bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/tropical hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and light-moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, peppercorn, pine, lightly toasted bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Moderate pine/citrus rind/grassy bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, lemon/orange rind, peppercorn, pine, lightly toasted bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and light-moderate bready flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero astringent hop/yeast flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitter/spiciness and carbonation, increasing through the glass. Medium-high carbonation and light body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp/sticky, fairly grainy, and lightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 3%. Overall this is a very nice Belgian session IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and light-moderate bready flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Very flavorful for the low ABV. Holding up very well, despite the best by dating. Hops still have nice vibrancy. A very enjoyable offering.

Honeyed yellow, lightly opalescent. White, fine, creamy and persistent foam.
The smell is very fresh, citrussy (tangerine), floral. Inviting.
A good citrus note in the taste too, a bit of wheat, and a good bitterness and floral note. Hint of white fruit in the end.
Aftertaste average long and dry, light citrus and herbal.
For the low alcohol (3 ABV), it has a remarkable explosion of freshness and flavour.

Amber color, very cloudy. Foam white, fine and medium bubble, high and medium durable. Decorating glass poor.
The aroma of delicate touch of sweet fruit, the mango, are mandarin, delicate lemon in the background, quite intense resin
Taste: here is very similar, although it seems that fruits and resin are better balanced.
Gentian dry, resin, at the finish. Saturation medium, fits.

Puffy sticky white over hazy gold. 4
Lemongrass and wax nose. 4
Wheat thins then tart lemon and a touch of herb. 3.75
Fragrant end and tinny linger.
Thin and salty. 3.5

Does what it can at 3.3% but minerally and over-hopped. Too lean to session. Still not loving DdK. 3.5
