330ml bottle from Beers of Europe online shop (£3.99):
Opaque black with a lot of sediment at the bottom & a thick, foamy beige head that holds great. Dark chocolate & vanilla on the nose with smoked malts & roasted notes at the end. The taste is more smoked still with a lot of coffee & roasted malts, not so much sweetness but a strong earthy bitterness that lingers. The body is about medium & relatively smooth but a bit too much like a rauchbier with the taste for me.

L- Ultra-dark, one of the blackest beers I've seen, barely a photon gets through this when held to a halogen bulb. Pours with 3mm fine-bubble mid-tan head.
S- Wow, intense coffee. I imagine not much else can get passed that and I don't register the suggested vanilla aspect in this.
T- Very coffee indeed, pungent smoked/smokey coffee as drunk in the Middle-East, wouldn't surprise me if coffee has been added to this.
F- This would work better for me in winter than summer when the pungent flavour might be over-bearing. I'm glad that it is quite a dry (ie non sweet) beer
O- It's interesting to try but I'm not sure if I'd buy more as it is around the limit of serious intensity of flavour depth that I can enjoy. No really, I enjoy stouts/porters, heavy beers, many smoked beers, 'but this thing is INTENSE maaan'.
Ps. You really need to enjoy very strong coffee to enjoy this beer, it's that intense. 330ml bottle BB: May/2021
Bought from BeersOfEurope (UK).

Form the 22 oz bottle in a snifter via Weiland's in Columbus from our
Columbus brew extravaganza. This nice brew pours a murky brownish
black with a nice head of pink tinged tan foam that subsides to a thick ring,
thin pooling layer, and shows subtle lacing in a snifter. Nose of light char and
smoke, subtle vanilla, and subtle coffee. Flavors ever so lightly exceed the nose
with a char, smoke, and leather laden brew mixed nicely with dark bakers
chocolate and mixed with dark coffee verging on espresso with touches of
dark fruit and a smoked background that lingers long. Vanilla is light
which is a plus making this one more smoke than heavy vanilla, Decent mouth
feel; medium full body, light carbonation, and a wet lightly dry finish.
Overall, a decent smoked ale from Belgium.
Cheers

On tap- pours a dark cola color with thick beige head leaving significant lacing. Nose is mild espresso, roasty malt and vanilla. Taste follows with more vanilla, toasted grains and hints of leather and chocolate, all rather mild. Feels a bit thin.
