Pours a very clear, golden yellow with a lot of carbonation but not much head. Head itself is lacy white. A brew with not much smell to it. Taste is fuzzy and hoppy, nothing overwhelming. An average beer, but there are much better Czech pilsners to be found, and I think that even the standard Rebel beer is a little better than this. I give it a "meh".

Poured from 0.5-litre bottle into a Craft Beer Club tasting glass. Dull amber in color, slightly cloudy, with a good bit of white head that left some decent lacing. Very earthy profile, with big aromas and flavors of caramel, dark bread, peppery spice, and grassy hops accompanied by a bit of sweetness that is not overpowering. This sits well on the palate, finishing with a bit of lingering bitterness. This was sampled at near room temperature, which may have mitigated its crispness a bit. Still, not bad. I'd try it again if I could remember where I got it.

Aroma is strong bread/grains and a hint of spicy hops. The flavor is grains/malts/bread, mild fruit/citrus and a slightly hoppy/faintly dry/beery finish.

This is a great beer not well known nor easily found in the US, so when you see it grab some, if you like the style you'll love this beer. Good malt and hopping. Very easy to drink with a slight bitter finish and doesn't fill you up. The last sip always tastes like more... I love the larger bottles because you get another several ounces but you can still tell the wife you've only had two beers...

Pours a burnished gold color, Clear albeit lightly cloudy. Thick white head dissipates steadily leaving lots of sticky white lacing on the glass and a thin layer of velvety white foam on the glass.
Aroma has notes of sweet bread, cracker malts and some light grainy notes. Bit of grassy spicy hop notes come through on the back end. Do get a hint of lager yeast coming through on the nose with just a touch of sulfur.
Taste has notes of sweet bready malts, bread, some light grain notes, honey, lemon grass and some dried grassy notes on the finish. The flavors are somewhat watery overall. Are some fruity notes in this, but mild.
Feel is light and crisp with some vibrant carbonation providing a nice tingle on the palate. The bitterness on the finish hints at a dry finish, but its more from the bitterness than an actual dry finish.
Overall a good pilsner although the wateriness to the flavor drags this down a bit.

This beer is underrated.
Its a cheap, delicious, authentic Czech Pilsner.
Pours, nice and clear, with a decent head that dissipates after about 1 minute.
Its got that classic buttery, earthy, malt taste that is just so right and refreshing and very defining of the style.
The big 16oz bottles are awesome as well!
Cant go wrong with anything thats a pilsner from this country.

I found the look of this beer appealing, a medium amber color I poured this beer into a nonic at a very cold temperature amounting to a medium quickly dissipating head,
The smell is dense of malt, hops is barely detectable
The taste is of very sweet grains, it is very good for such a sweet malty brew, I like the taste more than similar brews but hop heads shall go wanting
It is very drinkable, if I had 6 of them I'd probably be chugging
Overall I would reccomend this beer, especially for people who like a good lager

Overly sweet malt in the aroma and taste, reminds me of a saltine cracker. Hops hiding in the background. Nice looking beer with full head, but its overall cereal character reminds me of a pale lager. I think this may actually be a lager (per the label) and not a pilsener.

Pours a clear gold with a foamy tan head that fades to nothing. No lacing on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, caramel, grass, and slight corn flake aromas. Taste is much the same with corn flake, earth, grass, and slight caramel flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that is drinkable, but a bit boring for the style to me.

A: Pours a slightly darker than pale straw. Two fingers off white eggshell head. Retention is minimal, as the head quickly collapes. Carbonation is moderate for the style. With a moderate amount of medium sized bubbles heading to the surface. Decent lacing.
S: Tart and a bit metallic. Green apple, green grape. lemon, white tea, some banana like esters (strange!). Malt backbone is slightly sweet biscuit. Very slightly herbal.
T: Subdued bitterness, even for the style. Slightly sweet grain up front, with the lemon and grape juice flexing mid palate. More of the fruity esters flex mid palate, with an undercurrent of slightly metallic bitterness throughout. This bitterness is actually the bedrock for me, with the bready malt also showing mid palate. Finishes on the fruity ester with more hints of the granny smith/green grape note. Dry, but not ridiculously so.
M: Medium bodied for the style. This one is not as sharp as many pilsner, Czech or otherwise. Carbonation is present, but it lacks the acidic burning.
O: Great for being 1.69 a 500ml.

An imported pilsener that doesn't smell/taste like skunk piss and is super easy on the wallet? Yeah, I'll take it.
