This beer is the essence of Southern California. A traditional West Coast IPA with a distinct copper hue, enhanced by generous additions of navel oranges, sweet blood oranges and grapefruit, all grown in Redlands, CA. The citrus flavors and aromas intensify the zesty Cascade and Zythos hops to deliver a one-of-a-kind drinking experience. An invigorating beer with a pleasant, defining bitterness, perfect for warm weather.

Pours a golden honey color. Aroma is pine and some malts. Flavor is piney hops with a touch of citrus that gives way to a balanced finish. Has a nice body and o we all is a solid beer.

I'm very nice double IPA. This was my first beer ever from hangar 24 and I was very excited to try one of their offerings… This one looked really good on the label and description but fell a little bit short of my expectations… Still very solid...just nothing to write home about

22 ounce bomber poured into a tulip glass
A: Amber, dark orange color with an off white head the poured creamy but quickly disappeared, not a lot of carbonation, looks cloudy.
A: Lots of citrus aromas, grapefruit rind, oranges, sweet malts, no alcohol, smells complex, smells big.
T: Citrus flavors right up front, grapefruit, orange bitterness, the blood and navel oranges bring some sweetness, malt on the back end, finishes semi dry, lots of flavors going on.
M: Medium mouthfeel with a semi dry finish, its kind of flat, the cap came off real easy, kind of weird.
O: Pretty complex, the citrus comes through pretty good, oranges are noticeable with slight bitterness and sweetness, the aroma is outstanding but the flavor is too mellow, especially for a IIPA, it lacks the flavor and mouthfeel I've had in other IIPAs, comes off more like an IPA.

L - Good orange, even reddish color; some haze. Low white head.
S - Some orange zest, lots of pine and grapefruit, presumably from both hops and fruit.
T - Super intense orange/grapefruit flavors blend perfectly with the hops.
M - Medium body; medium carbonation. Intense hops bitterness. Low alcohol presence.
O - Perfect blending of fruit and hops. Seems to achieve exactly what the brewery said they were going for.

Pours a clear orange honey color. Smell is of extreme citrus oops, subtle pine, along with citrus sweetness. Citrus bomb indeed, very pleasant. Taste reflects the smell. Initial grapefruit and orange rind bitterness lead into a hops bitterness that mixes into a citrus sweetness and finishes with a slightly lingering bitter tone. Feel is thicker, verging on slightly oily though it works with the almost pulpy juice flavors. Overall, this is a good beer with very prevalent citrus characteristics.

Light tan color.
Lots of citrus aromas come across.
There’s a rounded bitterness with lots of citrus peel.
It’s all right by me. I guess I don’t have much more to add to this review right now.
