Gave this a 4.15 the first time I tried it. Now that its in 16oz cans, it is practically my ideal IPA. Crisp and resiny, tons of tropical and dank flavor.

The perfect NW IPA. Like eating a ruby red grapefruit while leaned up against a douglas fir as you get a waft of kush from the neighboring campsite. All the flavor of a DIPA with none of the syrupy booze.

slightly cloudy and amber colored. rich smell of hops. made my dick hard almost right away, i took another smell, full engorgement now! the taste was strong and bitter with a lingering saltiness not uncommon in my line of work. this beer really helps me process and move past the bad times and isn’t that perhaps the most important criteria of all, but anyway, i don’t normally tell people this but i fucked my cousin is a weird dream i had. i’d get some psychiatric help but that shit is fake and i won’t do it

From a 4 day old 16oz can

It is a mostly clear gold with a large egg shell white head. Great retention that results in a solid film on top.

Smells very flowery. With a bit of weed and pine sap. Also fruity with pineapple sweet malts, and a little bit of pungent cat urine. There is also some noticeable alcohol when it warms or I would have gone a notch higher here.

Flavors of orange rind, pineapple, red grapefruit, and some mango or guava. Herbal and floraly with just the right amount of dank/cattiness. A lot of bitterness on the back end. The alcohol that was noticeable in the aroma is buried in the flavor.

The body is near perfect. Medium consistency and perfect carbonation. A lot of resin. Just a tad pithy. Very easy to drink for an imperial ipa.

This one reminds me of a more aggressive Pliny the Elder. Not only one of the better ipas I have had this year, but one of the better ones period.

Can dated 9/25:
Pours with a moderate haze on a golden body. Frothy white head builds nicely, and is sticky, as if following its name, leaving large swaths of lacing.

Nose has a little spice to it, adding to an overripe tropical fruit and mildly dank background scent.

More classic pith and dank taste when cold, tropical notes start to come as it warms. It never sheds the dankness that occupies the back of the taste, but a little grapefruit high note breaks through briefly.

There is a nice tickling carbonation on a slightly less than medium body.

More or less hits all the points of a hoppy, bitter IPA. Straightforward but with enough going on to not be boring in the least.

Incredible beer. Looks of great fruit, pine, malt. Very tasty. Right up there with the best DIPA, if not the best I've ever had.

On Tap at the brewery served in a tulip
Slightly hazy orange body capped by a fluffy white head that refuses to die.
Aroma is pungent and assertive with mixed notes of marijuana, fresh cut grass, grapefruit rind and unripe mango
Taste is amazingly like the smell, tropical notes of pineapple and guava also creep in, malt sweetness attempts a balancing act but it's all about the hops in this one
Long lingering finish with nice bitterness in the aftertaste that is welcome after the tropical fruit onslaught.
A superior DIPA that sits slightly on the sweeter side of the street.
Well done!

Pint sized can shipped from Oregon. Served cold into an imperial pint glass.

The can opens and releases a burst of super fresh hop aroma. It pours a golden orange color with reasonably good clarity for a double IPA. The sediment in the bottom adds a bit of haze. Head is thick and leaves a good bit of sticky lace.

Aroma is fresh, hoppy, citrusy, and dank. It fades after pouring it in the glass but still really nice.

Flavor is sweet up front with orange and grapefruit. Hop bitterness comes through with citrus zest and a bit of pine.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied and well carbonated with good balance for the style.

Overall an excellent double IPA and worth seeking out.

16oz can poured into a snifter canned on 10/23

A: Slightly murky rich Amber almost caramel body. Resting lightly on the body us a soapy white head that laces nicely.

S: Lots of sharp resiny hops a little mango on the finish altitude alcohol and pineapple.

T: Beautiful bitterness with nice mango pineapple and resin intertwined on the tongue.

M: Medium bodied nice cling lower carbonation.

O: This beer us spectacular. Great mouthfeel combined with amazing bitterness layer with fruit it is truly fantastic.
