On tap at Sydney's Local Beer SpecTapular.

Lovely reddish dark brown colour, with a fine bubbled head of crema foam. Very clear, which I actually don't like, but it's pretty tasty looking overall.

Quite a sharp roasted note on the nose, hint of spice like cinnamon, but otherwise quite roasted and raw, with a slight sour character coming up. Not bad, but pretty "Australian Dark Ale"-like. Typical.

Taste is prtety similar, although the sweet roasty note sticks around for a while, and is pleasant enough. There is a light sour note on the palate too, but I'm not wowed by this overall. Pretty thin on the mouth too.

Not an incredibly impressive batic porter. Certainly not terribly heavy or complex, and I can't say I'm a huge fan overall. It comes out as a pretty weak and generic Australian dark.

Pours very dark brown with a small fading head.
Nose shows lots of sweet malt, with chocolate, hazelnut and vanilla notes. Reminiscent of pralines and chocolate syrup.
Loads more nutty notes as flavours along with chocolate and roasted coffee. Finishes on an cloyingly sweet bready note.
Carbonation is a bit too high.

Pours a slightly red-tinged very dark brown, with a thin ring of head left from a decent froth, nice beige colour. Wobbles a bit, thick and gelatinous in the glass, looks pretty nice.

Nose is a big hit of intense coffee roastedness, slight vanilla/choc sweetness, hint of wood smoke as well. Robust and pleasant, a good man's beer with nice burnt aromas.

Taste is really quite tart, with the burnt character being there but not overwhelming. A sourness, almost balsamic vinegary in character, is the dominant flavour. Hints of espresso and cocoa behind it, but it's really more tart than anything else. Finish has a nice roasty bitterness and more what I'd expect from a Baltic Porter.

Quite nice drinking with good flavours, and a slick, slightly full mouthfeel. Not as thick as I expected from the gelatinous wobble it gives off when you swish the glass. Decent overall though, definitely decent.

Grabbed this at the brewery in Moorrabin.

Looks great, nice and black and with a nice brownish head. Can smell a few coffee notes which is nice. Tastes great, not as bitter or heavy as expected or as I would like, but still a fantastic taste and as as you expect, tastes as it smells. Very drinkable for a beer of this ABV.

Pours a deep sherry brown hue with nice carbonation that leaves behind a two finger creamy head and a rim of lacing, the smell is coffee, molasses, raisins and burnt brown sugar, the mouthfeel is medium bodied and quite chewy with tastes of burnt brown sugar, caramel, hot chocolate, raisins and finished with a dark fruity roasted sweetness and overall a very drinkable Baltic Porter and would drink again.

a: This was a very dark brown with mahogany edges. It was served to me with a small, mocha colored head.

s: Rich chocolate and espresso notes, faint floral aromas, and just a little heat.

t: Starts off with combination of rich, flavorful coffee, minus the bitterness plus some milk chocolate. The finish a little bitter and bit flowery. Oustanding overall.

m: Gentle, creamy carbonation and good body for a beer this size (The menu mentioned an abv of 6.5%).

d: Hmmmm... I have the highest score by a wide margin for this one. I had this near the end of my trip and I was starved for a beer like this one. Whatever the reason, I thought this was extremely well done. Definitely worth trying.

My first growler, how very exciting. Purchased earlier today at the brewery.
A - Poured into a pint glass a dark brown with ruby red highlights when held up to light. Few centimetres of beige head that falls away fairly quickly.
S - Slightly roasted coffee aroma up front followed by some dark fruit hints.
T - Much like the smell; roasty coffee notes with dark fruit hints.
M - Medium bodied with a low to medium carbonation. A bit more body would have been good.
D - A nice beer indeed. Easily the best beer from this somewhat new brewery. I'd drink again without a doubt.

Slightly hazy dark brown colour with a small, smooth and short-lasted light tan head.

Massive bready Munich malt aroma with some light grainy notes. Fairly sweet. More fresh malt.

Sweet malt with some light fruitiness. Plenty of bready melanoidins. Appropriate fruitness.

Medium-full body with moderate carbonation. Okay.

A nice Porter but it has taken on some exceptionally bready notes almost reminiscent of a Doppelbock.
