On cask for The Bruery Sucreversary held at The Phoenix Club in Anaheim, CA.

Pours a hazy light yellow-orange with a foamy bone head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form slowly drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is slightly sour with malt, grain, watermelon rind, and earth aromas. Taste is much the same with sour grain and slight fruit flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a low level of carbonation with an almost flat mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer but I am not getting any real watermelon fruit characteristics, and only watermelon rind in the smell.
