Inspired by coffee infused horchata. Notes of sweet rice, vanilla and cinnamon play with the earthy, hand roasted coffee for a balanced, modern take on the Central American classic.

Poured from can. Brownish orange color with 1/2 inch head on vigorous pour. Smell is cinnamon. Don't get a lot of coffee right away. Flavor is cinnamon and vanilla. Sweetness shines through while cold. Moderate mouthfeel for a blonde. Overall, pretty solid.

Presentation: 16 oz. can with the canning date printed on the bottom. Served in a tulip glass.
Appearance: The fluffy, two finger head stays around for a while and leaves behind a foam layer and a lot of lacing in rings and big sheets all over the glass. It's a deep, clear gold color.
Smell: The cinnamon is very strong and gives the beer a pleasant aroma. There's also some fresh coffee beans and vanilla on the nose.
Taste: It's sweet and rich, with the milky, cinnamon horchata flavor front and center. There's the slightest hint of hop bitterness in the background but it's barely noticeable.
Mouthfeel: It's thick, creamy and quite dry with a medium to robust body and medium carbonation.
Overall: Even though the coffee flavor doesn't come through on the palate this is still an excellent beer. It's creamy and has body but the scent and flavors are friendly and approachable. It's smooth, easy to drink and very well made.

32oz crowler poured into a teku
A- pours a murky pale orange color with a one-finger foamy white head that has short retention
S- vanilla and cinnamon up front, along with earthy coffee notes & rice, some creamy lactose as well as some toasted malt
T- cinnamon and vanilla follow the nose up front, as well some some creamy lactose notes. The coffee kicks in mid-palate, but comes across as more of a blonde coffee (no bitter notes). The finish gives a great balance of cinnamon, vanilla and coffee
M- medium body and carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that continues into the finish, high drinkability
O- very well balanced and highly drinkable, a nice mix of vanilla, cinnamon & coffee

Golden blonde with a subtle tan hue color with a one finger head. The head is white is creamy and poor retention. The beer has some carbonation bubbles. and no lacing on the glass.
A rich strong coffee aroma, but the coffee aroma is not like a dark roast. The coffee aroma is more like a blond coffee. A horchata aroma is the second aroma that I get, rice, cinnamon, vanilla, and some lactose. The malt is lightly toasty malt, touch of fruity hops, milk chocolate, and some yeast.
The coffee flavor is more pronounced than the horchata. . Light roasted coffee, milk chocolate, rice, cinnamon, vanilla, creamy, lightly toasted malts, fruity and touch of citrus, and biscuit note.
The beer is medium minus body, carbonated, and a creamy medium finish.
The beer is really good and yet weird. I do like this and the creamy finish gives it an original and unique take on the beer. I would drink again.
