Six years in and a still amazing. The port notes shine. Black with ruby hues. Boozy! No oxidation. Delicious!

Appearance - The beer was thick black in appearance with a dark tan head crowning the pour. Most of the carbonation had already been suffocated from the beer.
Smell - The nose had a red wine quality with notes of grape skin and chocolate.
Taste - The chocolate taste of Black Tuesday came with dense notes of chocolate. This was followed by the red wine that accompanied the port. Notes of oak, toffee and, vanilla flowed in the background with the broader notes of dark chocolate. At some point, I was made to think of chocolate covered berries. In the finish, the dark chocolate lingered with the notes of port barrel.
Mouthfeel - The body was thick, coated with tongue in dark chocolate goodness and little carbonation to interfere.
Overall - The ABV was well masked in this balanced creation from the Bruery.

2017. Pours very dark brown, good legs, not much lacing or head. Wine nose, backs with chocolate. Boozy, Port leads, secondary anise, cocoa. Light body, seems to be thin by Port addition.

2017 vintage. Poured from fridge temp but allowed to warm for a bit. Pours black with a good amount of tan head. Nose is traditional Black Tuesday, but with a clear red grape note. Toffee, bourbon, vanilla, dark fruit, and Belgian yeast. The taste is fantastic. Sweet for sure, but not cloying. Sweet candy, chocolate, toffee, bourbon, vanilla, more candy, brown sugar, red wine, oak, a bit of marshmallow, and a little touch of earthiness. This is really well done, and it has held up nicely for three years. The alcohol is noticeable for sure, but not overpowering. The mouthfeel is thick and viscous, but not creamy. The taste lingers for a good length of time. Fantastic overall.

I believe this is the 2017 vintage.
This one pours a dark brown-ish color, with a small fizzy head, and not much lacing.
This smells quite oxidized, with lots of sherry and fruit, the expected port, and some oak.
The port barrel manages to absolutely overwhelm the base here, as this is basically just entirely dark fruit and booze. The Black Tuesday base is obviously a bit dark fruit-y, but the barrel's obvious fruitiness just completely casts a shadow over the beer. The beer is obviously a bit oxidized, too, and that doesn't help.
This is pretty thin, extremely boozy, and not very drinkable.
I've liked other Black Tuesday variants much better than I like this one.

2017 bottle. Fizzy tan head. Brown color.
Tastes more like port than beer. Very oaky with red wine notes. Tannins. Molasses, caramel, toffee. Tons of dark dried fruits. All the port. Really solid.

Today is a great day for drinking this beer that is over three years old. The beer is 55 degrees and served in a tulip glass. The pour of the beer produced a two-finger light tan head. The head has poor retention. The head left no lacing on the glass. The beer is SRM 35 a dark brown with ruby highlights. The beer is opaque.
The aromas of the beer are vinous, sweet cherries. oak, earth, toffee, caramel, molasses, dark roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, alcohol, a sour note, grain, oats, raisins, figs, baking spices, and herbal.
The flavors of the beer are port, dark chocolate, char, smoke, oak, medium roasted coffee, toffee, raisins, tobacco, anise, figs, baking spice, caramel, earthy, cherries, dark roasted malts, molasses, plums, and alcohol.
The mouthfeel of the beer is warming and chewy.
The body of the beer is full, low carbonation, and a full finish.
This beer is remarkable. The taste is somewhat different from the nose. The beer has already aged. The beer drinks like a Barley Wine. Nonetheless, a great beer and a must try.
