The flavors of this bright and tart ale are inspired by limoncello, the famous lemon liqueur of Sorrento, Italy.

2016 bottle consumed in July 2021. This bottle is 6.1%. Strange combo of lemon and vanilla but it actually works well. The vanilla in the finish creates a super mellow feel. The bright fruit is refreshing without being too tart.

2016 vintage; drank 10/20/16 @ Harvest Hop Haus.
Hazy orange/yellow appearance.
Minimal bright white head; almost no lace.
Tart apple, lime & mild vanilla notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Tart apple & faint yeast funk flavors up front; mild, smooth vanilla notes on the finish.
Unique & tasty; I'd have another...

2014 Bottle poured into a BJ's Grand Cru glass
A: Pours slightly hazy golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a thin layer and leaves some light lacing.
S: Tart, lemon, fruity notes, a touch of spice, biscuity malt, and a little vanilla on the back side.
T: Lactic tartness, lemon, some fruity notes, green apple, apricot, and pear, biscuity malt, and some vanilla coming out towards the back end.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: Vanilla brings an interesting dimension, but I'm not crazy about it. Might have tasted better when fresh.
