Large shared bottle.
This is a nicely hoppy, moderately complex (high for a lager), IPL.
Loads of citrus notes in the nose.
Mild-medium bitterness (high for a lager).
Easy drinking with dangerously well hidden alcohol.

L - Pours an opaque golden body with amber hues through it. The head is eggshell white and one finger. Not much lacing and some retention to the head.

S - Citrus, tropical fruits and bready background. A bit hoppy, some dankness peaking through.

T - Very citrus and tropical fruits forward. Candied orange and bready malts after the citrus passes.

F - Medium bodied and low carbonation. Very smooth body. Some alcohol heat as well.

O - This is a tasty, somewhat hop forward beer without all the bitterness.

750 mL bottle poured into Allagash pokal glass

A deep copper-tan beverage, opaque, as a gentle pour yields a huge sudsy head, leaving a thick trail of sticky lacing. The nose is bold as well, bordering on pungent. Ripe fruit, citrus rind and a huge, grainy malt-backbone make the aromas. There's a subtle scent at the edge of the bouquet that's reminding me of Meyer lemons.

A lot going on on the palate. Sharp, bitter hop-essence jumps to the front, along with dank melon rind. Lemon pepper, grassy notes bridge the sip to a huge, sugary malt-backbone, and a fair amount of warm booze. The plethora of malts leads to a sticky, almost chewy mouthfeel. Closes with a long, bittersweet finish, with a good punch of booze right at the close.

Not sure I like this as much as Humulus, but it's fun to drink and parse out the nuances.

750ml poured into a tulip appears a clear pale golden color with 3 fingers white cap that fades leaving webby lace.

This smells hoppy and fruity almost like cantaloupe slightly grassy and green feeling with a touch of herbs and pine.

It tastes hoppy and green/vegetal almost like cantaloupe and melons with a pine and grassy aspect. Some mild fruity appeal and warming solvent alcohol.

This is medium in body with modest carbonation. A decent brew but hops are not the Bruery's forte. Not terrible by any stretch but this isnt something I ever need to drink again.

Not sure why this is categotized as a pale lager but whatever

A: Poured into a pilsner glass to a slightly hazed light gold with a dense two finger head that retains well and leaves good lacing
S: Smells of citrus and tropical fruits with a hint of bready malt
T: taste is juicy citrus and tropical fruits with some pineapple, grapefruit and candied orange. Slight malt sweetness at times as well provides some balance. On the finish this one has some oily and resinous hops with a little pine and more tropical fruits. It's a touch alcoholic at times too.
M: This beer is medium in body with soft and slightly prickly carbonation with an oily hop finish but the beer does finish a little dry.
O: This is one tasty beer. It definitely needs to get recategorized. The hop flavors are very nice but the malt flavors struggle to provide balance.

L - Pours a pale yellow a good thick bright white head.
S - There was a distinct smell of grapefruit upon opening. After pour there was a little lemon and citrus.
T - I get tons of grapefruit, lemon, orange, and mango with a dank finish but not bitter. Citrus and malt sweetness is all up front with a hop finish
F - This beer has got some really good body. It's almost a little thick and chewy.
O - It's not your typical triple anything. It could be a little brighter. But I find it uniquely different.
