Notes:
Black Tuesday Spicy Island was inspired by our Bruers' love for kicking back and sipping classic Tiki Drinks. Treated with habanero and pineapple, this imperial stout earns you a one way ticket to Spicy Island. First unveiled at the 2018 Black Tuesday Party and a Society favorite. Cheers to Ten years of Tuesdays.

375 mL bottle poured into a snifter
Dark brown with a half inch tan head
Nose: Pineapple dominates with a hint of habanero. Base Black Tuesday Is somewhat muted but comes through intermittently with raisin. Shades of a tropical cocktail here but not in a sweet/artificial way. Actually very pleasant.
Taste: Definitely less balanced than the nose - pineapple/habanero up front followed by bourbon-soaked raisin. Finishes quite sweet with lingering habanero (both heat and flavor).
Feel: Medium-light body with medium carbonation. Pretty smooth considering the abv.

Flavor is pineapple, chilli pepper, cherry, cast wood, and the black tuesday base.
Feel is medium body, light syrup feel.
Finish mild chilli pepper.
Overall, I really like this beer. You would think a beer called "spicy island" would be spice heavy. It is not. The dominant flavor is pineapple, which plays well with the black tuesday base. The spice is present, but is also balanced, added some mild heat without being overwhelming.

Poured into a wine glass. An opaque dark brown color with a modest white tan head. Decent foam retention given the size and type of beer. Aroma had fresh pineapple, habanero flesh, and faint chocolate. Taste followed. Very prominent pineapple which blended well with the BT base. The habanero heat was mild and allowed the flesh flavors to join in. The overall mix was outstanding IMO. This did not seem as boozy as the base beer, and was remarkable. A fantastic improvement to the great base beer.
