My first beer from the Bruery, only cost me a leg and half an arm! Poured into a snifter, brilliant clear gold color with half a finger of creamy white head. Great looking beer!
Smell of juicy, fruity hops - almost reminds me of Sculpin to some degree. This ain't no Pilsner; India pale lager through and through.
Taste of slightly underripe citrus; clean, bitter, and refreshing but sort of a one-note taste. I'd like to get a little more citrus character and depth of malt flavor out of a pretty big lager such as this.
Feel is somewhere in between medium-light and medium; kind of slick yet over carbonated at the same time. Something just doesn't seem to fit with the mouthfeel overall.
Overall, this was definitely an enjoyable beer and one I'd drink again. Look forward to trying more from The Bruery as soon as science advances to the point of limb regeneration.

I tried this on tap at Federal Taphouse, served chilled in a snifter.

The color is a dark golden with thin white head with fine bead with lasting retention. The smell is strong citrus with tropical fruit quality and mild floral with herbal hop scent and light malt odor which seems lightly toasted. The feel is medium high in bitterness with moderate carbonation with low sweetness and light astringency with mostly dry finish.

The taste has tangy juicy and bitter hop flavors with citrus and slight grassy yet somewhat tropical in taste with a flavor similar to less ripe pineapple with gentle herbal flavor which obscures the malt for the most part with slight taste of alcohol in the back with a sort of peppery dry spicy finish. Overall this is definitely a hoppy west coast lager aka IPL, hop dominant intensely bitter as it finishes which is borderline too bitter but excellent hop flavor with tons of hop aroma -Kudos Bruery!
