12.7 ounce bottle, 2022 edition, bottled 05/10/22. Served in a Black Tuesday chalice, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head. Head retention is decent enough and there's a small amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like dark fruit, brandy, roasted malt, red berries and some earthiness. For the most part I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some burnt/charred malt, oak and dark bready flavors. Mouthfeel/body is full, it's slick and a bit syrupy with a moderate amount of carbonation. A little boozy but not as much as I was expecting considering the ABV. I thought this was pretty good, recommended if you like brandy barrel aged beers or just any of the Black Tuesday variants in general!

From the 12.7 fl oz bottle in a snifter via Bluejacket74! Hearty thanks for this fine brew!
This monster pours a dark plum tinged brownish black with a moderate head of khaki
foam that settles to a thick ring, subtle dusty pool, and shows faint lacing with nice legs
on a swirl. Nose of dark berries, black, blue, raspberry, plum, brandy, leather, vinous
grape notes, and dark roasted malts. Flavors crank it up with dark cocoa, brandy,
oak, vinous wine notes, raspberry, blackberry, blueberry, plum, subtle vanilla, dark
roasted malts, char, and astringent booze. With warmth comes some coffee nuances
but they are all overcome by the welcoming berry and brandy notes. Very nice mouth
feel; full body, smooth, coating, lightly slick, very warming, rich, low carbonation, smooth
as silk, and a medium dry finish.
Overall---of each of the variants I have been given the chance to try each one is just astounding.
This one is no exception.
Cheers
