Cool mix of colors, brown, purple, red. Mild tan head in the quarter of an inch range. Aroma was a little acetic, brown wood, dark tropical fruit.
A headier fruit presence than the acidifie version of this beer. For the better. Cedar gives it a dry mouthfeel allowing the fruit to shine better. Pretty sour stuff. Well done. Unique, those darker tropical fruits and cedar are a nice touch, for some reason, smacks of Jester King just as much as Cigar City.

A - Pours a mahogany red body with a fizzy light tan head that dissipates as quickly as it developed.
S - Sweet fruits (guava & dates) and light oak. Light tartness on the backend. Not really complex. I'm not sure if age has dulled it or if it was this way when fresh.
T - Still a good amount of guava in this. The dates lend a hand with the sugar aspect. Oak and caramel peak through. Has some tartness on the finish.
F - Light bodied and medium carbonation. The abv did not make itself known.
O - Still holding on, but probably fading a bit with age. Still very enjoyable.
