Order up! These ’stacks are drizzled—or rather, nearly drowned—with maple syrup. This sticky-sweet bourbon barrel-aged small-batch release is bursting with maple character, perfectly complimenting the rich complexity of Black Tuesday itself. Inspired by the inarguably classic topping, Maple Shortstacks is best enjoyed passed around the table to share with friends and family.

12.7 ounce bottle, 2023 vintage, bottled 09/11/23. Served in a chalice, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head that stayed around a little while. Decent amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like maple, vanilla, bourbon, roasted malt, caramel, molasses and dark chocolate. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some burnt/charred malt, coffee, dark bread, oak and toffee flavors. There's a lot going on here in the flavor department! Mouthfeel/body is full, it's smooth and a bit syrupy with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a pretty good imperial stout, definitely worth trying if you like big brews!

From the 12.7 fl oz bottle in a snifter via Bluejacket74----Dude.....WOW....Thank you!
This monster pours a blackish brown with dark tea highlights and a modest head of khaki
foam that settles to a thin ring and sporting some nice legs. Nose of bourbon, astringent
booze, maple, subtle oak, vanilla, caramel, and touches of toffee. Flavors find 11 on the
amplifier. Dark chocolate and maple dance about caramel and toffee, drenched in bourbon,
mellowed by oak, astringent booze, and vanilla. Dark fruits abound with warmth; black
cherry, blackberry, blueberry, and mellow char and roast dashed with a touch of coffee.
Mouth feel is full, smooth, rich, coating, moderately slick, and finishing medium dry
that is sweet without being overly cloying.
Overall, a SOLID brew from a fantastic brewery!
Again, a MONSTER thanks to Bluejacket74!
Cheers
