A: it's a dark color that is a mixture of black, ruby red, and dark brown. Had on draught so comes to me with no head at all. Light is able to penetrate

S: bourbon, milk chocolate, soy, toasted malts, dried sweet fruits, and earthy nuttiness

T: wow tonsssssss of sweetness upfront. It's a thick, sugary syrup sweetness. There is definitely some hazelnut behind that as well, with that milk chocolate. The nutiness is a nice companion to the sweetness. Bourbon is in here as well, but is pretty mellow and acts as a nice accent. I'm surprised to say this, but the alcohol presence is really not much in here. You can feel it on the tongue, but not much beyond a tingle on the back of the tongue

M: full, syrupy mouthfeel. Carbonation is pretty low, as I'd expect

O: really well crafted beer here. Huge ABV, but not extremely noticeable. It's very sweet though, so be prepared. This is the true definition of a sipper - take your time and enjoy this

I really dont understand why people like the bruery big stouts. They are always super boozy and cloyingly sweet. The sweetness on these beers make dark lord seem like its not sweet at all. Lots of roasted malts and dark fruits in this one, but the back of the throat coating sweetness really puts me off of these beers(well also the pricetag on these too). Zero head when poured into a snifter, thinner than one would expect for such a huge beer but still pretty good. Just lots of sugary sweetness and alcohol.
