A: Poured into a Duvel tulip to a golden orange beer which is topped by a very small white head which fades somewhat quickly without a trace
S: Smells of grape skins, sourness, and funk
T: Taste is shockingly less sour than anticipated. It's there but builds slowly with some nice lemony notes, hints of funk and a touch of wood help to round things out a little. On the swallow there's a pretty good smack of sourness followed by a nice creamy wheat note that lingers into the finish along with some slight lemony sourness that remains along with a little acetone.
M: This beer is on the lighter side of things with a slightly watery feel. Carbonation is quite soft to the point of near absence while the acidity gives this one a drying finish.
O: Overall this is much tamer than I thought it would be. It isn't offensively sour and it's very pleasant. It even has some semblance of balance along with some complexity coming through. Kinda sad I only have one.

Holy shit. The aging on this bottle mellowed out the super sour aspect everyone seems to be talking about. Aged, this bring a the lemon upfront with the lemonface.

Comes out a vibrant yellow with a full on inch of white head on the top. Plenty of carbonation. Aroma hit massive levels (Upland) of sourness, behind that was a small amount of oak and funk. So much lemon though.

Taste, eee gad if this isn't one of the most acidic and sour battery acid (Upland) kinds of beers around. Drop this and a kiwi lambic together and watch your stomach erupt like in that Aliens movie.

Its far from complex, lots of acidic lemon leads. Not overly funky, but its there, same with the oak. Otherwise, its interesting and still a fun drink. Just bring your friends and antacids.

This thing has aged wonderfully. Some people are saying it's too sour, but whatever. If you like sours, you'll love this.

Upon release this was described as "offensively sour." It has since mellowed to "slightly annoyingly sour."

So super funky sour on the verge of vinegar, but oh so damn tasty. Heavy acetone (another favorite). Super clear, really thin, but still SOLID!
