Style: American Wild Ale

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 5.80%

Notes / Commercial Description:
Sans Pagaie translates to “without a paddle” and is our take on the Belgian-style kriek, a sour blonde ale aged in barrels with cherries. The base beer has a subtle funk that melds gently with the fruit giving this beer flavors reminiscent of coconut, vanilla yogurt and of course, fresh cherries. A complex beer, perfect for a warm California day in the park with a slice of home made chocolate cake.

The color is cherry red and the smell has a lot of tart cherry aroma wtih slight sour scent of wild yeast.

The flavor has a great balance of cherry in the taste with the wild yeast adding some acidity and dry quality in the finish -recommend this as it is a very good cherry flavored wild ale.

a glowing rose color with light white head. The aroma has a tart cherry smell like sour cherry candy. The feel is tangy with sour acidity and light woody texture with heavy fruity tannic with light malt and sour puckering finish.

The taste is great with full cherry tartness and semi-sweet stone fruit with tart cherry and slight malt support of the sourness from the yeast and cherries with slight fruity floral quality of cherry skin flavor. Overall I found this to be a wonderful sour ale with lots of intensity

Brilliantly bright red , familiar bruery sour aroma of musty funk. Pleasantly surprised it's not overly sour as bruery beers tend to be. A fair amount of tart and sour cherry flavor, however mellow, somewhat dry finish. Agree with other posts not very "krieky" but tasty sour blond none the less. Drank the whole bottle.

Pretty tart beer. Tart cherry flavor comes through. A little too sour for my taste. Still decent though.

Big sourness with lemon and apple, bright, bracing, but it doesn't go anywhere.
