Our Humulus series are always hoppy and delicious. Humulus XPA is a very drinkable pale ale, brewed with the Classic West Coast Hops, Columbus and Cascade, and then dry hopped with Simcoe, giving it an intense citrus and pine flavor and a bitter kick in the finish. At just 4.5% ABV, this beer has a surprisingly robust backbone due to the use of Vienna Malt instead of the more typical 2-row.

On tap at The Bruery Provisions
A: Clear golden color with a thin tan head.
S: Huge citrus hip notes with a good amount of grassy hops behind.
T: Big citrus hop bite upfront with a ton of bitter pine right after. Solid but not close to Humulus Lager.

Tap to 4oz snifter
@Bruery Provisions
App- A nice golden butter colored, Super see through with a nice white one finger head off the tap.
Smell- A citrusy wheat smell. Gone was the Brett funk and instead a high amount of citrus and bitter and some earthy pine.
Taste- It's a little bit too bitter on this running. Its a pale ale just kicked up a notch with a grass earthyness. Has a couple of layers of flavors with some citrus and huge amounts of bitter.
Mouth- It was a crisp beer with a medium body and a medium carb level to it. Residual pine on this one.
Drink- Much like the other version of XPA, I thought it was good. This one I wouldnt order again but my how times have changed from when I said I wouldnt order the other XPA with Brett. Boy was I a n00b.

Dark orange with a thick, tightly-bubbled, near-white head that demonstrates great retention and leaves thick lines of lace down the glass. Very pretty.
Very strong, pungent aroma, especially for a relatively low-ABV pale ale: citrus, mild pine, earthiness, and sweet, caramel bread. Very nice.
The flavor doesn't translate nearly as well, as a fairly high level of bitterness dominates a lot of the nice citrus and pine components found in the aroma. Still, however, a very tasty, drinkable pale.
Medium bodied with high carbonation. Crisp and drinkable. I wish I had a growler of this for poolside.
A very nice pale ale, though just a touch too bitter.

The beer is a bright orange color with a sense white head. Citrus and floral hop aromas to this. Very pungent hop aroma, maybe a little bit of green onion, decent breadiness, and tons of pine. The flavor is quite dry and crisp. Pine, citrus peel, and lots of floral hop favors. Plenty of toasted bread, a hint of pineapple, and restrained bitterness. Very drinkable.
