A: poured into a duvel tulip to a dark yellow with hints of orange with a small white head that quickly dissipates to a ring around the glass. not a lot of bubbles streaming up from the laser etching in the glass so it might be low on carb. we'll see
S: intense sourness on the nose that seems mostly lactic, also some funky brett, slight fruitiness, and a bit of oak
T: taste is softer than the nose would lead you to believe. very clean lactic sourness with some sour green apple pucker, a nice fruitiness and a bit of oak. swallow is a huge blast of sourness with lingering acidity on the palate with a bit more fruitiness and some must
M: carb is soft but slightly prickly. the beer is medium in the mouth and the beer is quite drying on the finish
O: Another solid beer from The Bruery. Their sours can be overly sour to some people but this one seems to be as expected for the style without being overwhelming. Very good and can stand up with Drie Fonteinen Oude Geuze

poured 750ml bottle into Teku. 2014 Vintage.

A - Darker shade of gold with a soft white 2 finger head. Fades into thin ring with minimal lacing. Looks enchanting.

S - Starts off with a tart and sour aroma. Fresh lemon juice, green plum, and sour grapes. Funk is light and there is a slight woody character.

T - Huge bright tartness that is bordering on sour. Lemons. green plum, and sour grapes. I detect faint funk and some wood, even a bit of vanilla.

M - Light crisp finish with mouth puckering sourness. Carbonation is perfect and the finish is slightly dry.

O - Pretty tasty Gueuze style that is readily available in many places that helps make the price easier to deal with.
