On tap at The Bruery in Placentia, CA.
Pours a murky orange-red with a foamy beige head that fades to nothing. No lacing on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, and caramel. Taste is much the same with a slight fruity flavor on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that is boring and basic by itself which I assume is what they were going for in order to blend different coffees with it.

Draft to Snifter
@TheBruery
App- A lot of lighter browns with some reds mixed in. Light center. Kinda still and flat. No bubbles either.
Smell- A base red ale. Malty, sweet, kinda grainy IMO. Not much on the aromatics. Average at best.
Taste- Wow. For a Bruery base beer. Lacks a lot of punch. Just a standard Red Ale. Malty and a bit grainy like the nose.
Mouth- A lighter medium body with a medium carbonation. A bit of a candy like sweet flavor remains.
Drink- Just okay. Better than average but not by much.
