On tap at The Bruery in Placentia, CA.

Pours a murky red with a foamy reddish-white head that fades to nothing. No lacing on the drink down. Smell is of malt, oats, and slightly tart blueberry aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly sour blueberry and oat flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer with a decent flavor but a much better smell.

The color looks really nice, though not as bright as some of the more potent blueberry beers I have tried. Smell was of tart blueberries, but also something a little funky. Taste was more just sour wheat/oats and slightly yeasty, not much blueberry at all. Mouth feel was fine, light carb but good for the style.
