The nose holds tones of walnut, toffee, caramel, rye and a boozy whiskey.

The flavors are very strong and it gives off the same dessert tone of the original Bois. The toffee, caramel, and chocolate sweetness is tempered by the rye. It finishes a bit boozy but holds on for a more authentic whiskey flavor.

More spicy than the original, which helps counter the sweetness than. I'm not a big rye person, but it helps, in this case. Still has delicious dark fruit notes.

Unfortunately does not feel like it carries the flavor of the Bois. Rye comes through rather nicely though

Sweet, chewy rye. Nice booze.
