22oz bottle (though perhaps not as full as it should be?) served in pint glass. Beer is amber and slightly cloudy and forms no head. Nice citrusy IPA type aroma with a hint of caramelized sugars. Flavor is also like a not-so-pale IPA in profile, with hops forward, and a decent malt balance. This is nowhere nearly as hoppy or floral, but I'm reminded of 90 minute IPA. Rye flavors are pretty subdued, unfortunately. Mouthfeel is substantial and complements the level of the bitter/sweet balance, which is exactly where you want it in a 6.5%, without any deception.
Drinkable and enjoyable if not fantastic.
