Thanks to Tieman for sharing this one at his tasting.
Pours a hazy orange with a foamy bone head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Tiny dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus fruit, citrus zest, and grapefruit juice aromas. Taste is much the same with grapefruit juice and citrus zest flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is tasty but smells slightly better in terms of the hops.

Served chilled into a pint glass.
Poured carefully to leave the sediment in the bottle, #136 is a hazy pale golden color with thick sturdy head. It has good retention and lacing.
Aroma is very hoppy and full of great citrusy notes. The label claims the beer was dry hopped with galaxy and I'm loving it. I have to remember to use these next time I brew an IPA.
Flavor is also big on hops with lots of grapefruit and orange. Bitterness is somewhat balanced by a honey-like sweetness.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and nicely carbonated. It starts sweet but finishes dry with a bitter hoppy residual.
Overall an excellent IPA. I would love to try some of the other experimental beers from 10 Barrel. Thanks again to Jeff for bringing these to Colorado!

The #136 Wheat IPA was procured in a 12 pack I bought at Fred Meyer in Tualatin with the other experimental IPA's. The look was hazy strawish orange color with a 2 finger foam head that disappeared quite quickly. The smell was citrus and piney. There was a good bitterness in the mouth and the taste was citrus sour fruit with the wheat backbone. Overall not a bad attempt as I don't think I have ever had a wheat IPA before.

Pours hazy pale amber with one finger of white head, no lacing.
Smell is pinecat. Piney resins and catty. Quite pungent.
Taste is resin, pineapple, grapefruit. Some sweet maltiness shows up later. The wheat smooths the hop bite slightly.
Mouthfeel is fairly thin, light carbonation. There is an alternating wet/dry effect maybe from the wheat and hops combination.
Overall a tasty concoction. Steer clear if the catty aspect of the aroma is not alright.
Could also be a bit bold due to being very fresh. This just showed up in my area.
