I've had much worse, but this beer doesn't really stand out even for the style.
It pours a pale straw color with a fluffy head that sticks around for a while. Honestly the appearance is perfect.
The aroma is faint skunkiness and light crackers malts without a whole lot of any kind of happiness.
The flavor is crisp and clean. It starts out with a light sweetness and a slight bitterness. The only thing that ruins it is the skunkiness.
The mouthfeel is light and crisp, exactly what you'd expect.
Overall, I like American adjunct lagers better than this. It just isn't worth trying to me.

This used to be one of my go-to lagers, but lately it tastes watery and dull, especially from a can. I'm not sure if it's my preference for IPA's and Ales, but I'd almost rather drink a Budweiser than this. Even Pabst Blue Ribbon or Coors Banquet has more to deliver in the flavor department. Still, I'd probably choose Stella over Heineken.

This is a much better beer than most reviewers here seem to appreciate. I'm an IPA guy but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate a fine lager like Stella or Heineken. Of those two, Stella starts out with more color and head and goes on to also have more depth of flavor - rather dry, malty even metallic. I 've tasted a lot of high-end (& high alcohol) Belgian beers in Brussels and at a great Belgian restaurant in D.C. Stella is cheaper, but still has that distinct Belgian taste. Bars serve it a special Stella glass, which looks like a big wine glass (12 ounces at best), so I almost always go for something else - in a pint.

Very clear gold color with two fingers of white head made up of loose bubbles. Head crackles and fizzes down fairly quickly. Tons of visible carbonation.

Smell is a real clean water barley and malts, something like a beer, smell. Nothing really jumping out here. A faint hint of hops in the background. None of that Euro skunk smell, yeah!

The taste was very good while a bit plain. It tastes like a clean refreshing lager on the lighter side without any adjunct flavors.

Mouth feel is very light and crackles across the tounge with all of that carbonation. Finish is pretty crisp with a bit of wetness on the back side.

The Euro skunk did come out faintly as the beer was warming in my glass, but still not as bad as some reviewers state. I did get this in a 19.2 oz. can and believe this may have saved the beer from skunking out. Overall I feel this beer is worth a try from a can or tap. Taste seems to be cleaner than the adjunct lagers and also seems to be a bight lighter and dare I say brighter. Not a bad beer at all. Cheers!

On tap.

A - Pale yellow to straw yellow colored pour with thin dense white lacing.

S - Grainy aroma with some earthiness, a little grassy, and honey malt.

T - Grainy flavor with mild earthiness, honey, and finishes with some light earthy citrus.

M - Medium body with a little thinness, grainy feel that coats the mouth.

O - This beer has been around forever, can't believe this is the first time I'm reviewing it.

This is maybe one of the most boring beers I ever had. It even beats the mainstream lagers from Germany or the Netherlands when in comes to boringness. No distinct smell, taste or look. Pretty highly carbonated. That’s it. Waste of money and time.
