Notes:
Unfiltered is bursting with natural flavour because the yeast & smaller proteins that would normally be removed are left in, giving the beer a more vibrant taste & a hazier appearance

'Oh look! They hipstered Stella loony-juice'.
L- Mid gold, pours fashionably slightly hazy - yer know, not enough sediment to risk alarming anyone who hasn't seen a genuinely 'unfiltered' - as claimed here - beer before. Pours with a 3mm show-white creamy looking foam cap that's holding up well.
S- I could smell it on the pour from a distance. Bright, prominent contemporary hops. I sip again and get a verdant grassy smell (that's lawn-grass not weed BTW).
T- Bright dryer hops, bright enough to leave a slight dry-zing across my tongue. Behind it is a quite rounded biscuity malt. Verdant hops keep re-emerging into the mix in between the malts.
F- A darn sight more Feel to it that standard brewed-in-the-UK Stella, though is a seriously low bar to cross. At 5.0% it has a touch more oomph to balance the hops, regular UK Stella being 4.6% these days.
O- It's certainly a couple of notches above regular Stella. The hops have character without being at all 'statement'/OTT. Would I drink it again - yep. Would I buy it again - well yes if the £/L came down via bigger cans or larger mult-packs.
As is on the shelves they had boxes of 12*330ml bottles and 6*330cans.
Bought from Waitrose London W2. 6-pack of 330ml cans £6.50 BB: Nov-2022.
