look: 3.5 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3

Served in a shaker pint glass.

Pours a hazy golden amber straw with a foamy off-white head. Some decent lacing is produced. The smell is almost entirely composed of sugary raspberries, not unlike a Lindemans Framboise. A tiny bit of citrus peel comes through, but it is in constant vain Manichean conflict with the berries. The taste seems to want to stick with this formula, but cannot read its own notes (man, do I know how that goes...). The berries are still there in abundance, but they take on a more tart form to begin with, later morphing into an unpleasant cherry cough syrup. Thankfully, this Harvey Dent quality mellows a bit with warmth. Some hoppy bitterness and florals are involved here as well, but are greatly o'ershadowed by the berries. The body is fairly light, with moderate carbonation and a fluid feel. Overall, a disappointing brew, but not altogether bad.
